Our spring turkey hunts for Gould's gobblers here at El Grande Outfitters have been incredible so far! What a season it's been here in northern Mexico. The gobbling action has been insane and our hunters are getting into some excellent toms.
With good hatches and healthy bird recruitment over the past several years, our turkey numbers are up. On top of that, we experienced decent rains and snows here in the mountains of Chihuahua throughout the winter and adult birds are in prime condition. These mountain dwelling Gould's Turkeys are thick and that makes for very aggressive calling situations for our hunters.
