SPRING GOULD'S TURKEY HUNTS

A spring Gould’s turkey hunt should be on every die-hard turkey hunter’s bucket list. The Gould’s turkey is the largest subspecies with a broader wingspan, longer tail feathers and taller legs and feet. Their most unique feature is their completely white tail feather tips. Gould’s prefer mountain habitat and our ranches in northern Mexico are the prime location.

In fact, one of our hunters in 2016 took a tom that is now the SCI world record Gould's Turkey! With a score of 54 14/16" it ranks #1 for archery and overall.

The road to the turkey slam comes right through Chihuahua!

If you're looking to complete your Royal Slam or World Slam, the mountains of Chihuahua in northern Mexico are a must-visit destination. The birds here are big, plentiful and they inhabit some incredibly scenic country. This is the heart of Gould's Turkey country!

Our fully-guided spring turkey hunts provide hunters with excellent accommodations, great meals and of course an action-packed turkey hunting experience. We hunt some of the largest ranches in Chihuahua  with outstanding turkey habitat. We pride ourselves on offering a memorable experience in every aspect. Our experienced guides are happy to accommodate archery or shotgun hunters.  The turkey season begins March 18 and runs through June 10. We are very careful how many birds we harvest to maintain high turkey densities, and taking two birds on a hunt may be available.
